Client Overview:
GBSN is an independent non-profit organization, originally founded in 2003 as part of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The group works to improve business education in emerging markets, originally focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa, and later expanding to other areas of the globe. GBSN's core activities include faculty development, strategic planning for business schools in developing countries, and health management fellowships. Through its activities, GBSN's network has grown from its original 18 member schools to nearly 50 schools currently. Through its programs and network, GBSN works to raise awareness of the importance of management education in national development.

Client Need:
An intuitive, password-protected portal, utilizing the latest social media and networking tools to encourage communication and collaboration among the program's member schools and their staff.

Our Solution:
GBSN Connect, an cleanly-designed, scalable and interactive online web portal. GBSN Connect provides an online community for its members and partners to network, exchange information, and generate ideas in a secure environment, using various vehicles of communication. Features include extensive member and organizational profiles, discussion forum capabilities, seamless instant web-based chat, video conferencing, and a file share service.

3210 Consulting and GBSN have continued their successful partnership in 2011, with the launch of several new features to the GBSN Connect application. These features include a WordPress-powered Development Blog, integration with additional, worldwise social networking sites, improved SEO optimization, and a web email interface. Most excitingly, GBSN connect is now mobile, allowing users to access over 85% of the portal's capabilities on their mobile device.
